About Blooming Moon Wellness Spa
I believe living life in balance is the key to total wellness. Wellness begins with the awareness that balance is dynamic, flowing in a natural rhythm unique to every individual. At Blooming Moon we encourage every guest, as well as the spa professional, to strive for balance and wellness. My goal is to create an atmosphere where spa professionals and guests can be nurtured simultaneously. Therefore, our guests always receive quality spa services and undivided attention, which often will not be found in other spas. I believe energy runs through and connects us to each other, especially through touch. When you experience a treatment with someone who is entirely present and has the intention to calm your mind, lift your spirits, or provide pampering bliss, the act effortlessly prevails! We strive to bring this type of connection to every visitor. So, with much love, I deliver you Blooming Moon Wellness Spa.
Owner / Esthetician
My passion for skin care began with makeup artistry. I dabbled in photography makeup, mostly for bands, independent films and other small projects. In 2003 I realized I needed my esthetician’s license to do makeup on major films. I quickly signed up for the AVEDA institute in New Mexico and this is when my passion and talent for skin care and waxing really began. After moving to Portland in 2005, I fell in love with this sweet city and I knew Portland was my home. Therefore, creating a spa business doing exactly what I love, in my favorite city, was music to my ears! I have a quick and painless approach to waxing, therefore I can speed wax like nobody’s business. I love the art of brow waxing and I can deliver nearly pain-free Brazilian waxes. I have a whole body approach to skin care. It began with studying and practicing holistic, ayurvedic esthetics. I have experience with all skin types and would love the opportunity to guide you on your journey to gorgeous skin. My approach to beautiful, radiant skin is to be both mentally and physically healthy. My objective is to achieve and maintain a state of whole body wellness for my clientele. Through preventative facials, which include acupressure, massage, and high quality skin care products, I am able to treat mild skin conditions before they develop into more serious health problems, while relaxing your mind and body.

I began my esthetics and nail technician career in August 2014. My love for makeup and helping people look and feel beautiful is what made me pursue a career in nails and esthetics. While in school, I immediately fell in love with skincare, waxing, and gel manicures. Much like make-up, gel manicures are an artistic outlet for me. Like an empty canvas, I enjoy painting using beautiful colors and working with the non-toxic lines provided at Blooming Moon. I enjoy working with all skin types, but especially acneic/ problematic skin. The results experienced through a series of treatments show the most dramatic results and are the most rewarding, for both my guest and myself.
I believe if you want beautiful skin, you have to manifest and maintain a positive frame of mind and believe you have beautiful skin. My philosophy with skincare is also based around the phrase, “You are what you eat.” When it comes to taking care of your skin, eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, drinking lots of water and making time for relaxation is an important aspect of healthy, beautiful skin. Another part of gorgeous skin is investing in yourself! If you take the time, energy and a little money for proper skincare, you will get the results you want–and I would love to help you get there!
Waxing comes naturally to me. When scheduling a wax appointment with me you can enjoy some fun conversation and before we know it- you are waxed!
I was drawn to Blooming Moon first because I love the ambiance of the house atmosphere. Blooming Moon is such a relaxing environment to provide treatments in. Also, being an animal lover, I love that we use cruelty-free and all-natural products. When I’m not at Blooming Moon, I’m at home taking care of my fur-babies or enjoying the outdoors- particularly the sunny Portland summer by any river!
My first love, as far as my profession goes, has always been makeup. I’ve worked for various brands and then went on to freelance. I love the transformation and confidence as well as creativity that makeup offers. While I enjoy creating different looks, my favorite makeup work is bridal work. I love making women feel beautiful on their big days! This soon translated to a love of skincare. I learned that the basis for all beautiful makeup is beautiful skin. Helping people to feel good in their own skin became such a reward… the makeup is now just the icing on the cake! So if you have a big event or just want to know how to apply makeup on yourself, I would love to help you with either one or both!
My goal as an Esthetician is to help YOU achieve YOUR goals for your skin, so expect questions from me as well as a game plan we can execute together. If you just want to relax and feel pampered, I love doing that too. The facial massage is my favorite part of a facial!
I got my Esthetics license in 2010 and have been licensed in several different states. I love the mobility this industry offers me. I was born and raised in the beautiful island state of Hawaii and I’ve lived in California, Texas and New Mexico. I moved to Portland in September of 2016 and must say I had no idea what to expect but have been really enjoying myself. I love new experiences and new foods so if anyone has any recommendations for me feel free to let me know!
I have been practicing massage therapy for 6 years and counting. Bodywork is truly a rewarding profession and I feel so blessed to be able to share the gift of touch with others through therapeutic massage. It often has a profound impact on people’s health and well-being which is why I got into massage. I wanted to spend my days working in a more meaningful way. I have always had a strong sense of compassion for others. When you combine that with the knowledge of bodywork, I believe it is truly powerful.
I like to approach the muscles gently, letting you breathe easy. Using firm and effective pressure to assist the body in its natural healing method, I will listen to you and work with you to give you the massage you need. Stress relief is always my main goal. A few of my favorite things are Swedish massage, aromatherapy massage, our Camellia head and neck treatment, and any of our body treatments or body scrubs!
I am happy to be a part of the team here at Blooming Moon where we use only the best natural products and we genuinely care about your balance and wellness. Outside of Blooming Moon I enjoy going to concerts, going on adventures with friends, and watching anime with my two cats, Jack and Misa. I am looking forward to meeting you and helping you stay well!
I graduated from East West College in 2010. I got into massage therapy to help people relax and be in the moment with their massage, body, and mind. I really enjoy that certain aspects of massage are very scientific and technical, while other aspects are free-flowing, energetic and can get you into a head space that you never want to leave. I specialize in CranioSacral Therapy, Relaxation and Swedish Massage. I am also a yoga teacher and a runner, so I really enjoying working in the legs; I have a great knowledge about how the body can feel when muscles have been overworked and are sore. It is a stressful world and getting back to homeostasis and balance is important so our bodies have the ability to heal themselves.
I am so excited to be a part of the Blooming Moon team. The atmosphere at the spa is so calm and relaxing. The body scrubs and treatments are wonderful and make you feel like you are floating on clouds after! In addition to working at Blooming Moon, I teach yoga at Hot Yoga for Life and manage their North Portland studio. I also love going to the coast with my husband and our dog, Bumsy.
I received my training in massage at East West College in 2012. At East West I was educated in Deep Tissue, Craniosacral Therapy, Tui Na and Swedish Massage. Since my time at East West, I have continued education in Craniosacral Therapy (CST) and medical massage. I value a scientific approach to my work as a therapist, while also incorporating the deep sense of listening that comes from extended training in CST. I acknowledge that every person’s body has different tissue density, different patterns of tightness, and different paths to unwinding tension. I work to actively construct my technique to where my client is at that day. Finding a particular fascination with many of the common postural issues faced by our modern lifestyles, I spend much of my time studying exercises and techniques to improve the lives of my clients.
As a resident of North Portland, I am very happy to serve my local community at Blooming Moon. I specialize in Deep Tissue Sports Massage and Craniosacral therapy. I am passionate about working with populations who have experienced whiplash, TMJ dysfunctions, adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder), low back pain, plantar fasciitis, brain injury (non-acute), recurrent headaches, insomnia, anxiety, and depression. I also absolutely love giving prenatal massage to well deserving mama’s!
I am currently enrolled at Portland State University where I am majoring in Molecular Biology. I intend to continue on with my education until I receive my doctorate in Physical Therapy. I spend most of my spare time being active outside. Whether tending my garden or backpacking the North Cascades, I can’t get enough of the outdoors!
Alexandra “Allie” Fletcher
I’ve always been interested in the medical field. I decided to try massage school after personally experiencing the health benefits of massage after a car accident. I graduated in 2015 from the University Of Western States, the second oldest chiropractic school in the world. My education focused on deep tissue, medical, and sports massage, as well as therapeutic techniques and stretches to help clients feel better and experience longer-lasting effects. I love helping people become more aware of their bodies and educating them on how they can better care for their muscles. It is such a joy to be a part of people’s lives and to be involved in their self-care! One of my strongest beliefs is that we need to take care of the muscles that take care of us. I look forward to meeting you at Blooming Moon!
I completed my training in 2010 at the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado. The majority of my practice has been heavily influenced by my choice of environment. Surrounding myself with highly athletic and active communities, I’m very well-versed in how to treat overused muscles (be it from rock climbing or high stress desk jobs). In my opinion, helping a client hobble into my treatment room and then seeing them glide out is the most rewarding feeling in the universe! I adore the slow- moving muscle release such as trigger point and myofascial techniques. My intention is always to alleviate chronic or acute pain in the most comfortable and efficient way possible. Recently, I transplanted myself to the sun-kissed city of Portland by way of Jackson Hole, WY.

My official massage career began in Los Angeles after completing massage therapy training at the Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing in Culver City, CA, in 2009. This was part of a long personal and professional shift toward sustainable wellness, which I’m grateful to continue here in Portland under the beautiful Blooming Moon roof. Our wonderful body treatments, like the Dead Sea Salt scrub and steam, are an excellent pairing with my holistic approach to massage. I love helping you to discover better freedom of movement, better rest-recovery, and more efficient use of your muscles. I work with slow, firm, connected pressure, without pain–even when releasing deep knots and adhesions. I use techniques from Swedish, Thai Massage, Tai Chi Chuan, and sensory re-patterning as the basis for my signature relaxing flow. I am passionate about continuing to expand my skills to help different client populations, currently to include clinical therapeutic touch for oncology patients.
