Rachael Vollmer, LMT

Drawn to the holistic healing community in Portland, OR, Rachael attended East West College of Healing Arts and completed an 801 credit hour curriculum in 2006. Since graduation she has continued to expand the breadth of her knowledge through continuing education and self study. Rachael specializes in working with women during pregnancy and beyond and has completed a 32-hour certificate program in pre- and perinatal massage therapy.

In addition to pre- and perinatal work, Rachael enjoys working with a vast array of clients, customizing each massage session to meet her clients’ unique and individual needs. Rachael incorporates numerous modalities into her practice including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and hot stone massage.

In addition to her massage certification, Rachael also holds a Biology degree from Portland State University. Her understanding of the natural sciences, along with a keen sense of intuition, provides great strength to her practice. Rachael believes strongly that healing touch and relaxation have the capability of invoking the body’s own innate healing response. She enjoys her work immensely and looks forward to helping others create their own vision of health, balance and harmony.
