Swedish Relaxation Massage

A traditional relaxation massage; Swedish massage is wonderful for muscular tension and stress relief. Swedish massage uses long, gliding movements followed by various techniques of light to deep pressure to relax tense muscles, improve circulation, release toxins and promote harmony and balance.

Deep Tissue Sports Massage

Deep tissue massage focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, lower back tightness and sore shoulders. Strokes similar to classic Swedish massage are used, but the movement is slower and the pressure is deeper, as your tolerance allows.

Pregnancy Massage

Therapeutic pregnancy massage has numerous benefits for mother and baby during this unique physical and emotional time. Regular massage reduces stress to mind and body, encourages steady blood pressure and respiratory rate, increases blood and lymph circulation and provides relief from musculoskeletal strain. These are just a few of the many wonderful benefits. Please consult your doctor prior to scheduling a massage.

Heated oil and smooth basalt stones are expertly applied to deliver warmth deep into the muscles and tissues, promoting greater relaxation and release of toxins. Your therapist will incorporate Swedish and Deep Tissue massage to further enhance your treatment and target any problem areas. You will leave feeling centered, grounded, and renewed.

Camellia Head & Neck Treatment

This amazing treatment is designed to deliver a deep state of relaxation, beginning with the neck, moving to the scalp, and finishing with hypnotic acupressure on the face. Warm camellia oil is applied during the scalp treatment. Camellia oil is an ancient Japanese beauty ritual used by geishas over 200 years ago to nourish the skin and add luster to the hair. Wash away the cares of your “everyday” with this private, customized, aromatherapy shower steam.  Whether you would like some uplifting, calming or clarifying before or after any treatment, this is a beautiful aromatherapy treatment.

Heat Therapy $15

15-20 min
Heat is deeply grounding, therefore this treatment is a beautiful beginning to any massage, especially if you have trouble relaxing. Combined with an application of warming/cooling therapeutic lotion, heat therapy helps relieve muscle spasm-related pain and will relax your tight and tender muscles. Heat therapy can also reduce inflammation, including various types of arthritis and congestion in your tissues that’s associated with subacute or chronic traumatic conditions of your superficial joints and muscles.
